In season (October through April), we are generally open Tuesday - Saturday 10 am to 5 pm (closed on Sundays and Mondays). If you're in the neighborhood, feel free to just stop in, but if you are making a special trip, it's always wise to call ahead.
Annual 'Scratch-n-Dent' Sale: Last 2 weeks of April, during our regular hours. Scratch-n-dents are generally healthy plants, but have some cosmetic blemishes. Also featuring bare-root divisions, overgrowns, and odd lots (those pesky "too few to list" varieties].

Services
GIFT BASKETS & HOLIDAY ARRANGEMENTS
We create gift baskets and arrangements, from formal to festive. For those in a hurry, we usually have a few already made up. For those of you who prefer to pick your own plants, we can usually put one together while you wait, but for something large, or multiple arrangements, it's best to give us some advance notice. We have a limited selection of baskets and other containers, so if you have a favorite of your own, by all means bring it, and let us fill it up.
Additional services:
- Repotting: one or two small to medium-size plants can usually be done while you wait. Multiple plants or plants requiring special treatment will probably need to be left with us for a few days. Basic repotting, including clay orchid pot, rhizome clip, potting mix and labor, is priced at $1.75 per inch of finished pot size for pots 6" and smaller, $2.00 per inch for larger pots or for wooden baskets. Additional charges may apply for plants requiring special treatment.
- Plant Doctor: we'll be happy to take a look at one or two of your problem plants, free of charge, if you bring them to the nursery. We have a bench set up under shade just outside our customer entrance for this purpose, please don't bring problem plants inside our shadehouse until we've looked at them.
- Onsite consulting: for those with large collections or specimen plants too large for easy transport -- we'll come to your place and provide advice and assistance with your plants and growing areas at $45/hour. Includes "plant doctor house calls" as well as help with plant placement, potting, naturalizing plants on your trees, watering schedules, feeding schedules, etc. By appointment.
- Design/construction of shadehouses and other growing areas, from decorative wooden structures to the plain but functional - priced by the job. For a look at our first [the one from my own backyard], check out the About Us Page. A more recent project is pictured here. By appointment.
- We are also available to speak to your orchid society or garden club; in connection with a speaking engagement, discounted plants for raffles or door prizes can be provided.
